Rhode Island hockey > Massachusetts hockey

Surprised to see 9 goals scored in this game

The problem is expectations for this team along with a devastating loss last night.
Five years ago we would be tickled pink with 15 wins at this time of year.

Disappointing loss. Yes, PC is a very good team. But if you're up 4-2 with less than 10 to go, you just can't blow that type of game. It's not like we're Notre Dame or BU, we're actually a pretty good team as well. Most goals allowed by Lowell since 12/1/12 (UNH, Doug Carr in goal). Most goals allowed by Connor since his first ever college start.

Simply put, have to get two points tonight.

Any word on Wilson, McGrath ? I hope it is not a second concussion.
I thought 1st ten minutes of the third we were still playing offense.
No more limit in thread length -- #1025?

On a side note, I could live in those bench areas they got down there :p

Agreed. I'm going to try and put a positive spin on this. We scored more goals last night than I expected us to score all weekend. Also the 3rd period lead streak was up to something like 50-1-3 before last night? Loss #2 was bound to happen eventually and at least it was to a good team on the road and not in a tournament. Hopefully this is the wakeup call they need to bounce back tonight and go on a run.

I guess we'll find out about Wilson and McGrath tonight. The team can't afford any long term injuries. With the departure of Buco and Gordon no longer available plus other injuries the roster depth is pretty thin.

Time to move on from last night. It will be interesting to see how the team responds tonight.

Injuries are worse than you think - a lot of guys went down last night. I was told that Wilson, McGrath, Suter, Kamrass, and Zink are all game-time decisions, but unlikely to play.

Wow, if last night's results weren't bad enough. I guess we may see Dalton Carter tonight.

Not free, but if you're early enough, you can get street parking and pay $2 at the parking meter.
Meter enforcement on Saturday may not actually happen but fill the meter to 6pm and you're set.

I wonder what the lineup will look like tonight and who gets the start in goal.

If Wilson and McGrath can't go I believe they are down to 12 forwards. Defense is a bigger issue if Suter, Kamrass and Zink are unavailable. That would leave 5 healthy defensemen which includes Carter. Thompson has played some defense in his four years at Lowell so that may be an option. I guess we'll find out in a couple of hours.

Suter and Kamrass in the line up. McGrath, Wilson and Zink are out

9GA and Gillies has been chased.

edit: given all the penalties we're taking and the lack of dressed players this is a phenomenal performance.
