Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on
Spoke with a Lowell season ticket holder who's a BU alum. He lives close to Lowell and loves college hockey, so while he definitely still supports BU, he does support Lowell as well (except when they're playing each other). He's been following BU since '74, and has never seen a BU team this bad. They still have talent, of course, but there's no heart seemingly. He's not even willing to give Quinn another year. I never thought I'd see Lowell play a game against BU and outshoot them 42-12 (and the 12 was partially due to a 5-minute major). Amazing.
Two straight games at home where Lowell absolutely dominated their opponent, but still having a really tough time finding the net. This really has to change soon, but I'm not sure when that will happen (it's not like Gillies is a sieve).
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE how this team is playing. I love some of the younger players, Chapie had a phenomenal weekend, AJ White's work during the major was beautiful. But we HAVE to find the back of the net more often.
