I thought Lowell played well for the most part. They were sloppy with the puck in their own zone and gave ND a couple of chances because of it. How about that goal by DA? That was a great shot and I thank the ND defenseman for giving him all the room in the world to shoot.

Nice win for you guys tonight. I didn't see the game but how was the play compared to the UVM series?

Simple answer, UVM showed up to play, Notre Dame didn't. Outside of some sketchy defensive zone play, Lowell dominated from beginning to end. Of the 35 saves Connor made, maybe 5 or 6 were challenging. He did have one eerily similar to the save against UVM towards the end of game 3. Fully expected the red light, but it never came.

Thanks for the update.

Well looks like UVM made it anyway so it will be fun to see how all the HE teams do. From what I can tell BC, UML, UND and UVM are in. PC has a 75 percent shot and UNH has to win. There is a scenario for NU but that takes a specific set of wins.

I can't stand those gaudy gold helmets. Guess they thought because they beat BC they would just waltz tonight. They got a rude awakening. There's just something missing from that team. They were never in the game tonight. Don't think they're going anywhere in the NCAAs.

UVM is out if Ohio State, UNH, Union and Mankato all win... so time to root for you guys...

I thought the sign that said "Your helmet costs more than my tuition" was clever. Those helmets are an eyesore. But hey, least they have women's bouncy ball.

UNH looked significantly better from the last time we saw them. My friend watching the game on NESN+ said that they were saying that their defense was playing almost as good as ours. I thought they were good but the lack of TVR is still hurting them. Going to be a fun game tomorrow.

Those helmets are an abomination. I would have a hard time taking myself seriously if I had to wear one of those and be serious about it.

At one point the commentators on the UNH game said we ran a clinic on how to play hockey- everything was right- body position, stick position, and some other things I forget

Someone took the horm away last night. Every year we run into some over testosteroned security guy who doesn't get the game. at some point HOckey Least should straighten that out. That is part of the atmosphere.

They were right. Lowell played a near perfect game. Very impressive. Good job!

Was soooo sad I couldn't be there. Work went late and we couldn't get WCRAP on the radio there except for a lot of white noise and a few words (I HATE THE WCRAP THING!!!!!!) so didn't even know what was going on until I got home. They looked really good on TV.

For future knowledge use the tune in app if you have a smartphone and hook it up in your car / stereo at home it works great

Was at work so couldn't use phone. It messes with some of the stuff we use. The point is if we had a real radio station doing this (and didn't sell our soul for the $) we wouldn't have to go through all these machinations to get the thing we used to get with the press of a button. The BS of increased coverage isn't fooling anyone. You can't hear it with in 10 miles of UML never mind other places. It is all about money. You shouldn't need a smart phone or to live in a certain little patch to be able to hear something that you could hear most of the way to Boston before. :mad:

Have you tried tuning into am 930? For some reason in my car it comes in way clearer compared to am 900. Just a thought

At home I can get 980 sort of. That is it. At highest volume and with some wavering. I live less than 4 miles from Lowell on a hill facing Lowell. Work is even closer to Lowell and couldn't get any of them. Moot point now, but yesterday I was insane. Didn't know what was happening until middle of second period when I was driving home. Talk about relief! When I heard up 2-0 I let out a whoop. The person next to me at the light looked at me really funny

Well unfortunately for me I have work today and can't make it. But the DVR is set, a friend is taking my seat, and I have a good feeling about today. :)
