UML 2012 Offseason Thread: "If this is a dream, don't wake me!"

I have mine, but thanks for the info!

Once I get my San Diego receipts into work (and thus, paid off) I want to get the remaining Denver stuff down. I'll shoot an email over.

Great idea on the blog series. Love to see that we are moving forward and proactive.

For people who haven't booked their flight out to Denver and still interested. JetBlue is having a deal through tomorrow, August 8th, for fares starting at $110 bucks each way between Boston and Denver. Figured I would pass it along if anyone is interested.

Since I just booked mine a few days ago, I can tell you that the cheapest round trip flight on JetBlue for BOS-DEN during the time frame Lowell is heading out there is $238 + taxes/fees.

The best I could do out of DC was 350 or so... Granted I restrict myself to DCA.

First time doing this... I should be able to get away with just a carry on, right?

First post is up, including a question by our own Patman.

Interesting comment on the hang clean and hang snatch. I have to wonder if there's an element of bias against injury as could be (possibly) had by going power clean/snatch or the full deal... On the other hand, it may not be so taxing on the legs which may be fried from the prowler/sled and conventional squats.

I booked my flight in May and only paid 274 round trip out of Manchester on Southwest. Flights to and from are non-stop too. Where is everyone staying. I am staying at the Fairfield Inn at Cherry Creek. It is about a mile or so from the DU campus. Got a room for only 99 a night with AAA membership. Cant wait for the season to start. Go Riverhawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I posted on the other thread, I'm staying downtown.

Just over 8 weeks till the exhibition game beings one of the most anticipated UML seasons ever.

Re: UML 2012 Offseason Thread: "If this is a dream, don't wake me!"

Just got my roundtrip flight for 220 on JetBlue from Boston to Denver. Granted my flight back is a redeye and Monday morning will be absolutely miserable at work, but 2 wins and a Sunday in downtown Denver sounds good to me.

Re: UML 2012 Offseason Thread: "If this is a dream, don't wake me!"

We're under 2 months until the exhibition and opening night against the woeful Catamounts. I'm going to need a little more excitement out of everyone here. Also might be time to get the predictions ready.

Re: UML 2012 Offseason Thread: "If this is a dream, don't wake me!"

As some of you know i moved out to SF last year. Oddly enough for me to go from SF to Denver is the same price as you guys are paying. $250.

Here's to hoping Cal or Stanford join Hockey East so my cost to see a game can drop dramatically :-).

The newest Countdown to Faceoff is up...
In addition, the River Hawk hockey office and locker room area are experiencing some major improvements. As Devan mentioned in his post last week, the new Hockey Performance Center is nearing completion. At this point, the construction crew is set to finish the HVAC system and install rubber flooring before a final inspection and cleaning. Barring any unforeseen snags, this will be available to the team by the time classes begin.

56 Days. Time to stop lurking I guess.

Was curious about this statement in the facilities Q&A from goriverhawks.com

In an effort to maximize the potential of the new space, our camera stations will be moved over to Section 106 and, consequently, the in-ice logos will now face the west side of the arena.

Does this mean above on the concourse level or will there be lost seats in that section?

Also: How long do they stay there once they realize Monty's voice will be heard on every single highlight.
