so much for that whole "Manchester and Boston will steal acts from the Tsongas" bit. What a load. People might want to go to Boston but you know if its just down the road people will go.

interesting they are doing these things when in my opinion the facility was already top notch but it's great to see this. My favorite away game arena and not only because of it's proximity to my home...........and nothing beats the high school basketball tourney saturday marathon

Well, I'm glad they're not resting on their laurels. The luxury boxes will increase revenue, which is a good thing. Saving $150k/year in energy costs isn't too shabby either.

Hey mellissa, I had hard time figuring out your system and it's request or licenses and whatnot... Is that resolved when I sign up for an account? If your prices for a picture isn't too bad I won't sweat the 10%. God know framing is annoying on its own.

Nuts and bolts, Lowell will get screwed by this:

Goals scored with the net displaced will be allowed as long as the posts remain in contacnt with the pegs (the pins that secure the net to the ice). For a goal to be awarded, the posts much have been displaced by the actions of a defending player and it’s the referee’s discretion to determine that the puck would have entered the net between the normal position of the goal posts.

For people who haven't booked their flight out to Denver and still interested. JetBlue is having a deal through tomorrow, August 8th, for fares starting at $110 bucks each way between Boston and Denver. Figured I would pass it along if anyone is interested.

UML introducing a new Countdown to Faceoff Blog.
