Re: UML 2011-2012 Thread: Part II

Yeah but then he said all that other stuff and I know yesterday he talked about avoiding watching the games.

Can't have our #1 energy guy being all dispirited and stuff. :)
I just really want to go to an Eastern region game. I haven't been to a live NCAA game in 16 years. That's just not acceptable! ;)

Milner looks like a sieve....beat badly on two goals....PC up 2-1, here we go.

About Melchiori...yeah, there's a Bob Lobel comment there.

First result to go our way... Union up big on Colgate in the 3rd... 5-1... in the ECAC we want Cornell and Union to advance to the final... but mostly we don't want Colgate or Harvard winning the league

Actually the game I'm watching closely is UMD/DU. Need a Bulldog win and is going to 2OT. Comcast Channel 263 in Lowell.

I've been watching it as well... I think the more important result is Union... but a UMD win would be helpful.

edit: this is about when I wish picture in picture worked

UMD loses... only result left for the early hour is the big one (my understanding is that Miami is down a ton).

Well that's done ... 4-2 BC.

According to the CHN Pairwise Blogs, apparently we can start celebrating!
Friday, 7:35 p.m. (ET) … Boston College beats Providence 4-2. This doesn’t really do anything except solidify BC as the top overall seed and eliminate another potential upset champion. Only Bowling Green and Harvard are left to potentially steal a bid, meaning everyone 13th or higher is safe. Miami, BU and UMass-Lowell are now mathematical locks to make the field.
