Sounds like we should have a good crowd. Hopefully with a good result attached (see Bridgeport or Worcester).

Here we go.....WCHA playoffs start today.

3:05 ET Denver vs. Michigan Tech
8:05 ET St. Cloud State vs. North Dakota

Both games are being televised on FSN. I've lost track...who do we want in these games, Mich Tech and UND?

I'm staying away from watching any games this weekend ... the nerves would kill me. I'll just check the PWR on Sunday morning before heading to the bar.

That's maybe the best approach.... I'll see you on Sunday.

If MTU wins we're in... at least I can't find a case that we're out... I haven't checked the late game... I'll wait until I get home :)

I'm gonna watch everything I can; usually good hockey.

I just heard one of the bands at the Michigan Tech/Denver game play the Sesame Street theme song. That was slightly weird.

Scott Wilson was Honorable Mention. Congrats Scott, may there be many more awards in your future, including tonight.

Re: UML 2011-2012 Thread: Part II

It's official. Congrats to HE Coach of the Year Norm Bazin and HE Rookie of the Year Scott Wilson! Doug Carr was runner up to Maine's Spencer Abbott as Player of the Year.

Bazin was the "nearly unanimous choice" as noted in the HE press release? What dope didn't make it unanimous as there was really no one else that could come close at all. York was 2nd, maybe he voted for himself?
