Long term memory is quite a bit better than your short term memory I guess. And I remember once during the Eisenhower administration...
Well...I have to accept the judgement of the WCHA as appropriate given my own lack of knowledge of details. Why would I entertain a possibility that the WCHA issued a suspension not warranted? The head coach position is a pressure cooker, no doubt. A coach still has to maintain professional decorum. Look at the MLB manager profession and how frequently they get the boot for crossing that line. That's what happens when a coach goes too far. Regarding other coaches, my personal opinion is the large majority conduct themselves more professionally than coach Miller and are better at staying on the correct side of that line. I'm talking about WCHA coaches here...not Bobby Knight or Woody Hayes.Yes thanks for agreeing with me Brooky -- my point was that this "career environment " as you so eloquently used is kind of special --not at all like a judge which has its own type of environment. I don't know whether the suspension is warranted as I don't know if a line was crossed (not my call neither). Except for John Wooden ( I think) how many coaches are without incident?
Well foreign players did not have any other choice. Coach Miller made it clear that you have to stay in town. You can not call that big sacrifices.Big game coming up. The girls have been back in town since the new year practicing and preparing. Interestingly, players chosen for their respective countries for the tourney across the pond did not go in the interest of putting their University career first. Big sacrifices.
Besides finding the "engage" button, what will it take to play a fantastic game against our rivals down the road? Lots of opportunity to make an impact with the results of this past weekend's conference play.
Well that was fun.
Shannon even pulled out her special suit. I'm sure it was appreciated.
Livid...Hey Skate...happy today? DA is pi**ed.
Boy oh boy, I hope you got some of the sequins!
“Our performance tonight was more than playing a game, it was a statement of who we are as a team and as a Bulldog family tonight we played with a great deal of self respect and discipline,” said head coach Shannon Miller. “We played the best hockey we’ve played this year, and we will continue to play well. We have our best hockey in front of us.”
