Not a fan of unions, but isn't that type of retaliation illegal?

Yeah, that whole article seemed to be a shot at the school. When would have been a better time?! Or is that they think we should wait to play for another year and then get a coach in the appropriate window?

As an outsider with no knowledge of lacrosse outside my girlfriend playing the sport in college I think the author is saying its a bad time for the coach to come on board due to recruiting. There is a non contact period coming up and without a team in place the key is to recruit.

I do agree it was a smarmy, smug tone.
