UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

Re: UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

No Y. Maybe that means he as matured in the last few weeks but I doubt it. Not a comforting thought. I wouldn't want to play with that loose cannon.

"Joe" has played in 10 games with 2g/3a, is -2, and has 27 penalty minutes. Sounds about right.

Re: UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

Anyone have any knowledge of this? I find this very hard to believe, having seen the outstanding fan support all season up to, and including, the NCAA regionals in Manchester. Given the original poster (this was on the Pittsburgh attendance thread), I take it with a grain of salt but just curious if anyone has any feedback -

"I've been to several FF's and I can't remember a more vile fanbase than the Lowell fans. It was the first time I've ever seen fans getting thrown out by security at a Frozen Four. I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

None at all. Saw nothing remotely close.

Re: UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

Figured as much when I saw who the original poster was.

Quite a vile human himself. Good thing he didn't even bother talking to us considering how much interest he seems to take.

Re: UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

I agree, i didn't see anything either. What thread was this posted in?
Pittsburgh Attendance. By The Onion Man or whatever his name is. Oddly enough, he has Meehan mentioned in his location/whatever field.

I couldn't find the post. It appears he removed it. I believe the reference to Meehan is for Meehan Auditorium where Brown plays.

Riley Wetmore scored his first professional goal for Bridgeport today - it was the game-winner for Bridgeport in a 4-1 win over Portland.

Fantastic...good for him! And I bet the Wetmore clan was there all decked out in Wetmore Bridgeport garb too.

Scott Campbell had a goal and an assist also so the UML alums had a good day.

Some people just flapping their jaw .... Making bold claims... I will say we were a little too rowdy in Bridgeport ... But didn't hear of anything that bad in Manchester or Pitt this year! Do we play brown next year?

Time change for tomorrow's celebration. It now begins at 3PM in the lobby instead of 4PM.

Re: UMass Lowell Offseason Thread '13: In Norm We Trust

Too bad it wasn't at night or on a weekend... I'd imagine 3pm on a Tuesday is pretty hard for most people to make. Especially those of us that took off all those days for Boston, Manchester, and Pittsburgh. :D
