That's what I figured... unfair on him (being pushed into this)... I'd rather have a local color guy if they have one... you don't need to know a ton... hell, Barry Melrose does it every spring.

you can review offsides for the ENTIRE play.

Couple of observations:

1) NU acted like they won the Stanley Cup when they scored their first goal. I've never seen anyone get so crazy for a 2nd period goal than Aston-Reece;

2) Thought there was more than just a skate redirect on NU's second goal at first. I thought it went off the front skate which was being pushed forward to allow for him to stop, but it redirected off the back skate. Panico needs to fully commit and go down on that 2 on 1 to take the pass away;

3) Again, where would this team be without Kevin Boyle this year? You can't put either goal on him today'

4) I find it fitting that former Lowell recruit Colton Saucerman took the penalty at the end of the game which led to the GTG;

5) I too thought the rush into the zone prior to Zink's GWG goal was offsides. I think they did review it because the play-by-play guy said that it was confirmed a good goal;

6) Obviously this game was never in doubt... :p

on the second goal... its my thought that it was an attempt to corral the puck that itself never became a "distinct kicking motion"... I think he meant to play the puck in some way with that leg/skate.

What do you expect from a former BU grad (except for maybe Mike Eruzione (sp)? Your color commentator was Chris Higgins.

Former Maine player Colin Shields is doing a nice job in today's NU - Colgate game. I don't want to complain too much about the announcers as I'm just happy we're able to see these games live. NU is really taking it to Colgate, 6-1 after two. Tough weekend for Colgate.

All Direct TV is showing is "Direct TV" on the NESN + Channel. Sigh. Back to the wavering radio station.

Middlesex county does not have NESNPlus unless you have HD, which we don't.

Epic fail/ The guy at Direct TV had me search a few sites- none of them are streaming the game. Back to the wavy, in and out radio :mad:

I can't believe it. Worst is we get the sports pkg so when mr les travels we can watch.
