Yes, it will be interesting to see how the Hawks look after a week off. Hopefully there will be a decent crowd for this series.

Trust me, I'm in no way defending Hutcheon or the other new UML writer, but realize the writer doesn't write the headline unless the Lowell Sun does it differently than 99% of the newspapers in the country.

they only got rid of goal judges a few years ago... surprised they brought them back.

Freakin awesome! May have been the best game they played at Tsongas all season. Looked like the team that was so good in the first half: goals from 5 different guys and every line, great vision, easy to handle leading passes with few bouncers, won the battles in the corners and behind the ND net, crisp confident transition out of our zone, played physical against a big team. Total domination ND was never in it. Special shout out to McGrath who was a total maniac and Boyle for the shut out. ND is tired and frustrated. No mercy gotta finish it tomorrow!! Side note Go UNH - would be real nice to win and not have to look forward to BU in semi.

Nice write up! "Lowell's puck pursuit was executed to perfection all night. The River Hawks seemingly won every battle for loose pucks and were right on any Irish player who had the puck." True dat let's do it again.

Great win last night. Repeat that tonight please. I can't make the next game(s?), but am desperately hoping we're heading to Boston tomorrow.
And since the Irish were shocked about having to travel so much to Boston when they joined Hockey East (no maps in Indiana?), we should save them the effort for next weekend. Just being helpful.

McGrath has been playing like someone possessed the last few games. Hands down my favorite player. Never seems to have any other speed except Full speed ahead. Hysterical watching him hit the huge D guys. He may be not be as vertically blessed as the big guys but he sure knows how to use his bod against them
