Can't find too many positives so far but nice to see Wetmore get goals last weekend. Almost lost my lunch when I saw the dump and run return. And even when not giving the puck away on purpose, they were also quick to throw the puck to the corner and then not get out front to get it back. How do you find a shot behind the net? They lost all those battles...

I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I'm in Bill Belichick mode right now.....One game at a time.....Do your job......

With Lucic and UNH in town tomorrow it should be a good crowd. Lets hope the students return after a poor showing last weekend and that the boys play like they are capable of.

I might be solo again tomorrow so if there is a spare seat in 107 I will be there in the 2nd period!
 
There's a better 4 tickets for $20 deal going on in the Lowell area. Just stop by a local Market Basket and grab a coupon. I know that the store on Bridge St. On the Lowell/Dracut line still has a large amount of these coupons.

Moments of play that were better interspersed with moments where my kids Mite team knew the basics of hockey better make the bad moments so much worse. Good think I'm not Norm. I would sit the guns that not only are not firing, but passing fooliishly (or trying to do it all by themselves- YOU CANNOT GO THOROUGH 5 OTHER PLAYERS BY YOURSELF!!!!!!) and let all the others have a go. On a positive note Houk seemed to do a bit better and Chapie (sp) had a few good moments too.

I had a printable word for what I saw and I only saw the third period... They look more discombobulated now than they have at a any point this season. Now I remember the word... Impotent... Their snake bite is now starting to affect play on the other sectors of their game.

So they're going to have to go back through the dorms to find enough kids to dress 20 players

Seems pretty obvious that Wilson had a flash in the pan year as did the Lowell team last season. Too bad, I thought they could give the big boys in the East a run.

I can live with a team losing. I can't live with a team that doesn't even seem to have any fire. An important game at home and you don't even show up. Yep, I'm officially disgusted.

And the UML Men's Soccer team lost last night as well in the East Region Championship game, ending their season. They finished with a 15-6-1 record, but had a wonderful year. Congrats to them, and let's hope they only get better.

It's still a few day away, but thanks Les. Yes, a night off would be nice. This team is very frustrating to watch right now.

The sad part is I thought the third period was their best period. At least they had some jump and the passing was better than the first two. Another game where the Hawks had trouble with the forecheck.
