Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread

Can't wait until tomorrow night. Checked out improvements the other day and the revamped boxes/suites look nice (although those obstructed views that are now created stink for the few people with those seats). And the new NCAA banner with 2012 added looks sweet!

Is this a whole new banner for 2012 NCAA participation or did 2012 just get added to a banner for all years UML makes the NCAAs?

The other banner they had got retired it looks like and a new NCCA Tournament appearance banner got made with 2012 added to the other 3 DI appearances (with room to add a few more!).

I'd rather have more banners, looks more impressive that way.

I'm not surprised you would say something like this Patman. Really.

Well, on the brink of the first big night in college hockey, let me say I hope you guys add "2013" to this banner by the end of the season.

Wow, RIT just knocked off Michigan in OT.
If Bazin needs to to remind the players anymore about taking this game tonight seriously, he just needs to show them this score.

Thanks Nick. As an alum, I'm really excited about this season. It's not just about the hockey, but all the stuff that's going on with the campus growing, more people showing up at the arena, more kids on campus ... for those of us that went to Lowell when it was mostly just a commuter school, I think we all love seeing this improvement. It's a sense of pride, and the hockey program is just one part of it.

Whatever, I'm of the opinion that having a ton of banners is better than a summary banner. It's a stylistic choice. Thank you for weighing in on such a serious subject.

I hear there's hockey today.

Stylistic Choice. Hahahaha.

It's ok, just admit you have low standards and want to put up a banner for everything so you can show up and watch a game underneath a lot of banners.

I'm with you on this one, even though I came in 2003 when Lowell was starting to build out. Every time I drive through Lowell I just smile to think of what Lowell is becoming due to the University's growth. I still am gloating on how Lowell got David Gregory to moderate the debate and the National debates for President get terrible moderators.
