Ouch stop pinching me!!!

Ever since last year, none of this is real.... Absolutely none of this... These are the two years we are supposed to suck... Next year is one of our peak years... NONE of this makes sense...

I... I don't get it anymore... But I'm not sure i need to

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread III

My cup runneth over. It was the neatest thing to see Mr les raise the trophy.
If I'm not mistaken he was one of the first to raise it. A class move by Captain Riley Wetmore. A great night for Lowell fans.

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread III

This is surreal is every sense of the word.

Thank you Lowell players. Thank you Lowell fans. Thank you everyone.

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread III

I keep thinking it isn't real. Maybe it isn't. It isn't a real game until they review a goal and ours was so clean cut it wasn't reviewable :D:D

The BU fans kept chanting LOL. I turned to Willie's father and said, 'well we'll see who says LOL at the end.' LOL!!

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread III

Yes. That was so great of Riley(?) to hand it to him.
Words cannot describe. After years of him missing stuff at home and working 7 days a week most of the yr, that was...well ...don't have the words.

Lowell represented tonight! I told my kids going in "get ready, we're gonna be outnumbered". No way, the Garden was blue!

So don't try. We don't have the words either!

I think we clearly outnumbered the BU fans. I would never have guessed that with it being Parker's last game.I was shocked. We were down under the balcony but the pics made it look like a sea of Blue. GREAT JOB by the guys in marketing to get the news out, post the links for info and all the other amazing things they coordinated. Class act!

Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread III

Just got back in and after looking at numerous articles, video highlights, pictures, and posts, it's still unbelievable and surreal. As the clock ran down and the players stormed the ice, there were alumni and long-time fans who literally had tears in their eyes. What an amazing night. And there's something poetic about UML beating BU 1-0, a reversal of the 2009 championship game that still pains many UML fans.

I too thought we'd be swarmed by BU fans and maybe it was just because Lowell fans clearly outnumbered them by a large margin that it really didn't matter. And the UML fans were loud and made their presence known. The balcony pretty much from Section 327 all the way down past the band and into Section 306 was solid UML with some scatterings of other fans. And you could see large groupings of UML fans in other parts of the balcony and down in the loge sections opposite the main UML loge areas. It was like the entire seating capacity of the Tsongas made their way to the Garden and this is no exaggeration.

This is all still soaking in and the ride isn't over yet. Later today we'll learn where we get placed for the NCAAs with many hoping for Manchester. If UML was an underdog last year with Barry Melrose pretty much saying we didn't belong there, UML cannot be anything less than one of the favorites to win the title this year. This is an amazing concept for a team that just two seasons ago one a mere 5 games.

Don't know if I'll ever get to sleep tonight, just too pumped up!

This drivel was posted on the BU season thread. Who makes up this stuff?

Rumor has it that both Bazin and Leaman are interested in the BU job. Both have done great jobs bringing the dead back to life. But the job will go to BU alum.

Amazing effort by everyone: fans, students, alums, former players, and especially the players and coaching staff!
Absolutely amazing game by both sides! I'm kind of glad to be beating bu after 09! Absolutely amazing feeling on to Manchester hopefully!

We're all jacked and pumped!

Sounds like we will be playing in Manchester against a VERY HOT Wisconsin team in the first round. Tough draw but we will definitely have the home ice advantage. #codeblue
