Are all four beanpot schools in play... Could they just bump the whole weekend by one day?

On the BC thread they are discussing the possibility of moving the Lowell game to Saturday. Both teams are off Saturday night and BC basketball doesn't play until Sunday against Duke ( 6:00 pm). It appears the building is available Saturday. We'll have to wait and see.

Powerpoint file from the NWS conference call says the onset of heavy snow will be between 1-3PM and that "Travel to destination (like home from work or school) may become impossible by the evening commute on Friday".

I think it had to be at least a 2007 ish range. I only say that because I went on a trip to BC with Lowell and that would have been the last time I would have been an on campus student. I know that they won that game

Tomorrow's game hasn't officially been postponed yet, but it will be. I was told that they are looking at re-scheduling it for 4pm Saturday, but since the snow may not be quite over then, that might not work either.

I would be very surprised if they play on Friday. Even as ScottK noted the storm may not be cleared out (traffic/roads wise) by 4pm on Saturday, so it may be tough then too.
1-2' possible across all of Southern New England and most of New Hampshire. One model is going nutz and TV mets are eating it up.

Yep, that was the one. BC fans REALLY didn't like us taking over the place like that. Much louder than the BC student section.

Yep, that was the one. BC fans REALLY didn't like us taking over the place like that. Much louder than the BC student section.

You are correct that our crowds those years were not great but the past 2-3 years it has changed completely and so hasn't the atmosphere. We have sold out 4 this year and have 5 others over 7000 that not were sellouts out of 12 games so far and we average 6946 (capacity is 7884) . That's pretty **** impressive and a big change from 4-5 years ago. In HE this year, UNH is second at 5569 and you guys third at 5114 so we are about 1400 more than the next best school . (PC averages 1900 to put that 1400 into perspective) This will be the third straight year that BC has lead HE in home gate
