UMaine Offseason...Belly Up to the Barr Boys

I still say Duda plays this year. The question - for me - is where? If the NC$$ doesn't clear him for play this year, I can see him following another route. Too much time in civvies while uninjured has the potential to kill his value.

Your right he will be playing hockey some wheres...but with him still @ Maine...gives the die-hards a faint hope he is a Black Bear this season.

Awesome Duda reel. That last goal I’m impressed with his head posture. His head is up, looking where to shoot or pass. Confident and impressive!
 
Had the day off so made it over to the Alfond for the afternoon practice.

Barr was mixing lines up pretty frequently during these drills but here are some of the line combos I noted:

Harrison Scott was in an orange jersey for practice. He worked 1x1 with Alfie for part of the practice while the rest of the team did 2x2 drills at the other end.

Maybe it's just because I haven't watched hockey in months, but overall found myself quite impressed with the speed of this group during the breakout drills.

Also former player Stu Higgins was in town and taking in the practice with his family. Nice to chat with him for a bit.

Somebody please remind me why TB is somehow exempt from any sort of existing anti-competitive marketing statues..?

I always used to call box offices directly, then pick up my tickets from Will Call. Never gave TicketBastard a red cent, but that's probably not an option anymore, and you can bet your life that somebody in Red facilitated that.

You all bellied up to the Barr by now, thrown down a few and ready for the regular season thread ?? Open to name suggestions since being the eldest on the Maine thread, as far as I know, and having therefore the distinction of keeping y'all in line, a new thread is in the cards, no ? Lets rock on this new season. Lets rock on this new season.

acs64, I'll obviously leave you guys to pick the name for the thread, but WIS and/or Effingwoods Hockey Almanac will agree to sponsor, so long as we get a " ... Powered by WIS/EHA" mention in the title name.

I promise to behave. As evidence, I haven't ripped on the obese assistant coach for over a year now ...

Your promise to behave ranks right up there with I promise to pull out in time . nyuk nyuk. Maybe we could somehow intertwine our cow hampshire buddies wicked desire to shitcan their coach into the thread title but geeezus I cant for the life of me figure out how.
