Insurance for the 5 min major.? Ben thinking ahead some.
Let’s hope Lesakowski doesn’t take one.

Since the start of Feb, opponents have a +20 shot differential in the third period against that Black Bears. Doesn't seem like much, but for a team that is 3-5 in those games that disparity definitely adds up.
Special teams battle is the biggest thing I'm watching out for tonight. Statistically speaking Vermont's PP converts at 10.2% which is dead last in the country, so hopefully if Maine does take penalties they can minimize the damage. Let's not forget that in the HE Playoff game last year Maine gave up 2 PPG to Vermont's 54th ranked PP (including the dagger about mid-way through the third).
On paper this should be a sweep for Maine but with the recent results I'd be happy with 4 points at the Gutt.
About as brutal a start as you can have to a road game. Early penalty, no shots through the first 7 minutes, and a funky bounce own-goal.
And the no call on the dlew foot right before the ticky tack “roughing”
Tough break… bounced weird of the boards, Boija out of position, guy through through crease, goes in of Bradley’s skate. 1-0 Vermont
Maine pretty fortunate that this game isn't 3-0 going into the intermission. All Boija in the first...
Black Bears credited with 9 SOG but Carriere didn't have to break a sweat.
The back linesman’s arm was up for icing…i don’t think maine knew the front guy waved it off
