Maine looks a lot better in the second, really carrying the play. Just can't breakthrough, but it might be coming.

Maine with a power play, some decent chances. One where Brad sent puck to far post and Breen couldn’t convert on the doorstep. Maine doing a little better this period so far.

If you hadn’t followed college hockey this year you would think these teams are close in the rankings. It hasn’t been a bad performance by Maine at all and yet Vermont looks very comfortable both ends of the ice.

I thought they missed a clear interference on Josh. It was away from the puck and the guy leveled him. No way the officials didn’t see it.

There was one play where Josh skated into a brick wall and leveled himself…away from the play. I didn’t see another one. (In the neutral zone in fron of the Maine bench)

The one I saw was in front of the penalty box. Oh well, not going to be the reason we can’t win this game. Need someone take goalies eyes away and try for a garbage goal or a d man snipe. Put Houle in front of goalie for a minute on this power play.

It will be nice when Brad learns to shield the puck with his body…I cannot understand how he is a first rounder when he is completely missing that one tool…he has many others, but he cannot skate, dangle, deke AT ALL (unless I am playing D)

He needs a lot of space and right now he doesn't have any. Can't imagine it'll get any easier for him.

Poisson is very lucky that wasn't a major call. He has a knack for those.

How that puck wasn't in defies me. Just gut-wrenching.
