Full props to Boija in that second period. He made five or six really nice blocker saves on some quality Colgate chances. Moves really well and tracked the puck nicely.

Wonder if Ostman will get the net back tmrw or if they roll Boija again given how good he's looked so far.

I think Colgate got some life in 3rd but too little too late. Boija looked calm, made saves look easy. Good win

Maine played decent. First line is in a little bit of a funk Breen was frustrated a couple of times visibly. Colgate played better when they got physical. Will be interested to see how tonight shakes out Colgates first star was their goalie. They did have some nice breakouts after the first.

Didnt see the hit on antonacci last night when he went down for a while, was it clean or what went on there.

Saw a fair amount of ruffing, elbows to heads, seems the refs arent calling these this year much, unlike a few years ago. Seems they want to call more light infractions like holding or hooking where no one actually gets slowed down.

I thought the boys backed off on the physical play last night after it was 3-0 and colgate got rough catching maine off guard. Good way to get hurt, hope they play 100% full out tonight leaving nothing behind.

Ugly way to lose the win streak, but there was a fair amount of puck luck for Colgate in the 3rd. Maine was all over them until Shoelle broke through. Never were going to finish 1st in the PWR anyways.

Buckle up for conference play!

Absolutely brutal weekend for Ostman, as Boija impressed on Friday and then he was horrific on Saturday and Boija played well in relief. I think who we see lead the team onto the ice in Hartford on Friday is gonna speak volumes.

1st goal no problem, after that big problem. It wasn’t just ostman though, sloppiest game I’ve seen Maine this year. Puck perfectly passed to a player who skated right over it , happened numerous times. Passes nowhere near the intended target. Got to hand it to Colgate though as they disrupted what Maine usually does and their goalie was great, big fat rebounds at times but maine had no one near and his teammates swept the rebounds away. Got to say Maine never quit though. Need the 1st line to get going again, need a power play also. I can see Boija starting from now on or at least a rotation.

EVERY game from now on.

He's clearly the better goalie.
