Nadeau show appears to be back, what a performance by those two, both ends of the ice.

The garden is going to be absolute zoo next weekend with these 4 teams. Just bought my tickets, I can’t wait!

Awesome, I hope to see a ton of blue in the crowd! This is the best feeling in a long long time.

BassAle why dont you see what they were saying before this game before you interject your coward bs. Allow us our time to troll. And mind your own business. Seriously. Second time you have pulled this BS with me and now on the UNH forums. Embarassing.

I watched the ending of CT-BC from NESN on a stream, and when they showed the bracket both semifinal games said "4:00/7:30". So I guess it hasn't been determined yet?

The #1 seed gets option to choose game 1 or game 2...at least it was that way a few years back.

Nice to see the team make it back to the Garden. Honestly I don’t really think Maine is on the same level as BC and BU but anything can happen at this point…

I have watched every game this season. I actually think this was Maine’s best game of the season. Maine has scored 5 goals or better before. The difference this game is that aside from a couple shot(the one that hit the pipe) Boija wasn’t tested very much. The defense was stifling for Maine’s standards. Usually we see Boija needing to rob the other team several times. Tonight the defense played great. The forwards back checked very well.

Most complete game I’ve seen Maine play since Timmay was around. Not only did the offense spank the mildcats but the D was unreal. Not sure if anyone noticed Bradly breaking up a play from behind, superb back check and the score was 4 zip. Barr making 4 lines that are responsible for all 200 ft of ice was a thing of beauty. Got everyone playing on the same page. I haven’t seen BU play but I know they are good but if Maine plays like they did tonight, Maine has a shot.

Tonight reminded me how much fun I’ve had over the years following Maine hockey.

You mean, you think UMaine has a "puncher's chance" against BU, wally?!?

Careful man, that's inflammatory "idiocy" by the standards of some of your SaS whippersnapper newbies lol ... ;-)

Wally doesn’t go on opposing threads and write dissertations about how good his team is, why his team will win, how the pressure is on the other team, how his goalie is so great, blah blah blah.

Enjoy your offseason.

Apparently we are the only individuals that remember this is a rivalry.

I honestly don't know why I should even bother, but the reading comprehension is just SO mind-bendingly poor ...

I said UNH was a 6th place HEA team that just won three games against a last-place team. A true juggernaut!!

... why his team will win ...

You understand that a "puncher's chance" means you are still the underdog, but have a slight chance, right??

... how the pressure is on the other team ...

Actually, I said there was more pressure on UNH to win, you guys were already virtually in the NCAA's ...

... how his goalie is so great, blah blah blah.

You mean, the guy who literally just set the all-time school record for consecutive shutout minutes? Blasphemy!!

SaS, buddy. Rent-free. To the rest of my UMaine-iac friends, good luck and enjoy the long-awaited trip to Boston.

No reason to be going over to UNH thread to gloat. Majority of the people over there care about their team the same way we do, don’t need to kick them while they’re down.

Been to the Whittemore center countless times, never had a bad experience. The Maine UNH rivalry has never been filled with a ton of hate, I’ve always had more of that for the Boston private schools.

Bullshit. I went this year and there were students behind us and said they would "kick us in the face" because we were filthy Maine fans. I went to both games. Same shit both nights.

Actually, groovy, everyone on here pretty much remembers there was something like a rivalry. Some folks from your side might insist (and not without reason) that the "rivalry" hasn't been much of one, as one team has won almost all the big games (and tonight strengthens that BTW).

Maybe the point is, and I'm just putting it out there, respectfully in a "food for thought" way ... most of us don't need relative newbies parachuting into the fray to remind us what the "rivalry" is and isn't??

You're a little further up the food chain than your partner-in-trash-talk, so when your UMaine elders speak, listen?
