My only thought: If ticket sales are sucking, perhaps they won't broadcast for that reason?

Check the ticket site. Sales aren't sucking.

For those of you not in Maine with access to the local broadcasts, the official Hockey East site will be streaming the games - for a fee, $8.95/game.

Big Ben gets his first home victory for the Senators with a 4-1 win over the first place Rangers. Ben had 25 saves and got the #1 star of the game, way to go Ben. Now we need Sulley to pull a Bish tomorrow nite!!!

Pete Warner is a troll. Stifling dissent is a slippery slope. We would all be English today if our forefathers were all "Pete Warners." I'm impressed with the team this year, and I'll always love Maine hockey regardless, which is why I care enough to come to this forum and hear what others have to say. It's been a great turnaround and Maine is in a good position to make a deep run into the playoffs. Every coach has a different style, and Coach Whitehead has done a fabulous job in turning out outstanding citizens lately and it's great that the team has excelled just as much academically as they have on the ice. Inconsistency the past few years has been a bit unnerving, especially last year when we knew they had the talent to be in the NCAA's, but sub-par goaltending just wasn't up to snuff to get the job done but this year it looks like that shouldn't be too much of a concern.

Grown man raises self-esteem after criticizing anonymous participants on niche message board.

Details in tomorrow's BDN.

He's complaining online about complaining online? How meta
The problem isn't with people complaining online so much as their ability to complain online anonymously. How many people in this forum would be willing to say the things they have said if their real name appeared next to every post? How many people would be willing to say the same thing in the presence of the coaching staff or Steve Abbott if they knew who was saying what (and there might be repercussions). Most people here remain safely anonymous, comfortable in the knowledge that what they say here, or at MBR or whatever other forum, will never be tracked back to them.

I'd complain to their face in a heartbeat. I love that you, "Priceless", are ranting about anonymity:rolleyes:........that's just precious! You are free to use your REAL name as your username if you wish. :)

Most people know my real name, but I can't use it as a username here because one of you trolls already registered it.

Whitehead for Penrose!

Feel better? :D

Didnt Maine's off ice problems end about the time Corkum showed up? Didnt Maine's work ethic improve about the time Corkum showed up?

Coincidence ? I would think not.
