I am not saying our whole season was not a success and I still love our new coach, just these games against our rivals. When we lose this big, it is a downer...

All night long Bruce has been saying that UAA is in the playoffs no matter the outcome of tonights game. UAA also posted that on Facebook. I just don't see how they came up with that. Anyone? He said they got the info from USCHO, but I don't see anything over there.

Wish I could stop the bus.
We ran into a buzzsaw tonight.
UA_ was clicking on all cylinders and we weren't.
They're my guys and are doing their best to represent us.
I'm not tossing my guys under the bus over it.
And have no intention of arguing the point.
Tomorrows a new day and will be a great day to be a Seawolf!

I'm tossing them under the bus. I got no problem with it. I don't care how UAF is playing, this is the *ing Governor's Cup! Show some *ing heart! Hit somebody! Take some shots! Fight for loose pucks! None of that happened! They just *ing rolled over! With so much on the line too! Against our rival!

That flowery talk ain't gonna do anything, we can and should expect better from this team. I hope tomorrow is a new day because tonight was a blast from the past!

I see Matt recharging the guys, changing it up tonight by shuffling lines and tender and getting a much better result.
It will be interesting to find out how sharp my vision is.
Now hopefully GCI will save me my $8 and show the game live.
Bring it tonight guys!

UAA has 26 points. NMU can get to 27, but wins for BSU and LSSU put us to tiebreakers. All three teams didn't play the other two teams four times (e.g., UAA only played BSU twice), so you go to the B) tiebreaker, which is conference wins. LSSU wins that one 13-12-11. If you go back to the A) tiebreaker between UAA and BSU, again, they didn't play four times, so you go to conference wins, which goes 12-11 to the Seawolves.

So yes, UAA is in because BSU and LSSU lost last night. I'm glad that you asked, because I'm working on something that will let you know. I needed to consider this, and now I have!
