So it's a two-way contract for JJ between the Islanders and Bridgeport.

Not bad for a guy that walked on at UAA and bounced around the ECHL for years. I really hope he plays in The Show soon.

The team looks GREAT with their new "do". Or doo or however it's spelled.
Well that may be an exaggeration for coach, but the guys look GREAT.
Shows some good self confidence on their part.
And it's for a very good cause.
Way to go team!

I hope the team is amped up. Fans made sacrifices for the team this season, UAA made a lot of changes to support the hockey program, for the first time ever we have a bus of students going up to support the players ... now it's time for the team to take care of business!!

And the newspaper says Kurt live on AM650.
Doyle and Dallas (not the same thing as DD) say live on GCI channel 1
Seawolfpunk over on the UAA/UA_ thread says tape delay GCI at 10pm
Will definitely have Kurt on and be checking for Alaskana chat and GCI live.

Coach Thomas did a good job at the luncheon. He is such an upbeat and positive energy guy. I enjoy listening to him. 180 degrees from Shyiak in that regard. Good hire.
