Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!

UAF Ice Angel, tickets for the Kendall Classic should be available online middle to late next week. Hope that helps!

UAA Seawolves Fan, do you know if and when UAA will be having the meet and greet with the hockey players? Last season it was mid September. Haven't heard a thing, and Tlisa hasn't answered my email yet.

I haven't heard anything about this particular event for this year. I'd like to hope that something will be released but as of now it hasn't come up. I know Tlisa has been awfully busy lately with the opening of the Alaska Airlines Center though.

Thanks. We all know that staff have been super busy with their new arena, but I hope the hockey team isn't forgotten in all of this. The meet & greet has been going on for years, and there were many more people there last year than in previous years. It would be a shame to let this fall through the cracks.

Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!

Good for him.

Hey, do ya'll realize that the Green & Gold game is only two weeks away?!

Sam Mellor (the next big thing, or so we all kinda thought) left after his first year under Shyiak, now he gets Shyiak again.

His stats:
UAA 33GP 4-5-9
WMU 37 GP 1-7-8

He should've stayed here, I have a feeling Matt Thomas would've loved to teach a smaller, fast guy much like himself.

Anyways.....

Hell yeah, two games at the 'Farg this year, loving it!

Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!

He should have stayed. He would have gotten 2nd line treatment at UAA ... Andy Murray shoved him down to WMU's fourth line to grind away.

Seems like the kid can't catch a break.

Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!

The 'Pick-A-Seat' event is this Thursday at Sullivan! Spread the word.

"Season tickets for University of Alaska Anchorage Hockey are on sale now, with a special ‘pick-a-seat’ event slated for Sept. 18 at Sullivan Arena.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the UAA Ticket Office at 907-786-1562.

On Thursday, Sept. 18, Seawolf Hockey will hold its Pick-A-Seat gathering from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sullivan Arena. Whether pre-purchasing or buying on the spot, fans who buy season tickets at the event will receive a complementary lunch.

The UAA Hockey team will host 16 games at Sullivan Arena in 2014-15, starting with the Kendall Hockey Classic, Oct. 11-12. The Seawolves are coming off their best season in 20 years, including a berth in the 2014 WCHA Final Five.. "

Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!

I like how all but one of them have the same tie.

I like how 1/2 of your freshman class doesn’t have ownership of shirt that can accommodate a tie and only one of who does had a suit coat. Classy……Real U M D Classy

One of the freshmen goalies choosing to wear a gold colored tie was commented on earlier.
Could care less if some troll arrives late as they usually do shoots his mouth off without knowing enough about the subject at hand to know what the team colors are.

Ok, this prompted me to look at the UMD player photos. All I can say is HA!

JFC relax sparkles, it's just a comment on something funny, not an indictment on the university.
