Anyone watching Graceland? It's not great, but it's fun enough. Definitely has that Burn Notice sort of feel and look about it.

Also, I'm wondering if I should even bother with Under the Dome?

I'm watching Graceland. I agree with your assessment. I'm not even trying Under The Dome so I have no opinion there.

NBC has a new one called Crossing Lines I'm going to check out.
TNT's new one called King and Maxwell has alright.

I'll probably skip Dome and wait for Siberia on NBC(?) I'll check out Dome on IMDB, see what they say, who's in it, and then decide.

I personally will be watching Hollywood Game Night, where Hollywood is apparently defined as "anyone with a show on NBC that we desperately want you to watch".

So I decided to watch The Wire again over the next few weeks when I have time (probably the 5th or 6th time I will see the whole series). And even starting right from the beginning with the first opening scene before the opening credits of the pilot, I enjoy it that much more.

"Why would you let Snot in on the game if you know he is just going to steal the money?" "Got to. This is America."

You just know/feel that it is going to be a great series even knowing that it may be a slow build and that there may not be a true payoff...because that is just the way it is. Sometimes, there is no payoff. There is no happy ending. Loose ends dont get tied up. Things just keep going on as they always do/did. It makes this series truly great.

Edit: perhaps a line from the series sums up this better than anything else: "No one wins. One side just loses more slowly."

I'll probably watch the first dome episode. I'll admit some curiousity. But I'm pretty sure I won't be regularly watching after that.

Did not disappoint. The ending scene with Hannibal on the other side of the bars at Baltimore State Hospital was priceless.

So Fox Networks put the kibash on Firefly fans who were making and selling Jayne Cobb hats (ugly yellow, orange and red knit hat from an episode - totally awesome) earlier this year. So one of the Browncoat ladies out there figured out a way around Fox's ban. The pic in the associated link is worth the click.

I haven't decided if "Under the Dome" did enough to get me to watch again. I can see them going down an alien storyline which doesn't do much for me. I don't know... maybe I'll give it one more chance to see if it grabs me but how long is it going to take before someone figures out the deal with all the propane? Season finale maybe?

I've given up on TNT.

Men of a Certain Age wasn't allowed to gain any traction and was cancelled during its second (short) season. I thought it was one of the more honest, funny and thought-provoking shows on TV.
But we're on season three of that god-awful alien show, Falling Skies, with no end in sight. How anyone can watch that crap, I have no idea. The only thing worse than the acting on that show is the CGI.

I was very disappointed to see Men of A Certain Age get the ax too. The guys seemed like such real people living through real life with highs and lows.

Yeah great cast and just a wonderful premise.

I think Dome was interesting enough that I'll stick with it, at least for now. Curious about the propane.
