Finally caught up on Better Call Saul. It's still early, but what's the last spinoff that was this good? Frasier?

Walking Dead finale.


I liked it a lot and I thought this season was one of the better ones with outstanding character moments throughout.

Tonight's episode felt like a setup for next season rather than a season ender though.


Not a complaint per se, just an observation.


Looking forward to the spinoff this summer.

The Trevor Noah choice is surprising if only because I would've thought Bassem Youssef would've been the top of the list if they went the foreign route.

I like it though. I've enjoyed his few segments and think he'll do fine on the other side of the desk.

I loved the appearance I saw, and I'll say one thing -- the TDS host just went from a 1 to a 9 on the hotness scale.

The Walking Dead finale was amazing. Easily one of the best episodes of the series.

Holy ****. Scientology took a major beating in HBO's documentary. I knew a lot of it, but some of the stuff I didn't was beyond shocking.

I watched that last night. Xenu and the DC-8? Really, Xenu? I've never read anything Hubbard wrote, but something tells me it's not great works with things so imaginative as an interstellar DC-8 built by aliens.

The South Park ep on Scientology was threatened with lawsuits for a reason. SP even had the flashing "THIS IS WHAT IS ACTUALLY TAUGHT" (paraphrased) at the bottom of the screen. It's that friggin' crazy.

All I knew about the scam was that they had Tom Cruise and John Travolta hook, line and sinker, and that there were things called "Suppressive Personalities." The rest was news to me. The prison thing didn't surprise me - we're talking about a well funded cult, after all. And people have taken cults to the point of drinking the Kool-Aid.

Holy smokes. I think Bob Odenkirk and Michael McKean both earned themselves at least an Emmy nom this week. What a fantastic end to BCS.
