I hope he wagered everything. YOLO!

It was a she, and ended up getting a fairly easy final question wrong. She started the final at $8400 and bid $1600. I'm sure it was for an even $10k if she got it right, but it ended up a nice troll job that she finished with $6800 while one of the other contestants finished $6800 in the hole.

Can't believe The Black List did a clip show.

Bottle episodes and clip shows are really, really cheap to make. It could be a sign they're running out of $$$.

Wednesday night on Jeopardy, only one player made it to the final round. The other two were in the negatives after double Jeopardy...

This also happened on the Tournament of Champions episode where the survivor's husband was competing. Now that's bizarre.

And they give the actors a break in their schedules.

So I've been watching Secrets and Lies, cause the previews made it looks as if it would be sufficiently suspenseful and mysterious. So far it's turned out to be warmed over Gracepoint, which itself was warmed over Broadchurch. Will probably continue to see where it ends up at, but not expecting much from it.

Well that was a fun-filled, action-packed season finale of Empire.

RE: The Americans.

Okay, that last scene was just a smidge messed up.

Justified: Interesting little twist in there with the mine. That really would have accelerated things towards a good closure. I do like the McCready twist. That was very well done!

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Just watched the final two episodes of The Mentalist. They wrapped it up really nicely. It was time to end it and I'm glad they got to wrap it up and not just have it cancelled. Cho was a great character throughout the show and I'm glad they kept him the same way throughout the series. I think I'd watch a spin off with him.

Finally had nothing else left on the DVR so we suffered through the finale. It did a fantastic job of reminding me why I begrudgingly kept with this show until the end. The ending was 100% cliched. Married and pregnant and off to live happily ever after. Oh joy. Didn't see that coming!

The writing was atrocious. The county court is just going to leave a stack of signed marriage licenses out on the counter for people to peruse through at their leisure? A serial killer is on the loose, and Lisbon knows he is after her and Jane, and she arrives home, alone and miles from anywhere, to find the door ajar, and decides her best course of action is to enter and check things out? The killer is IN THE FURNACE ROOM when the FURNACE EXPLODES and he not only lives, he has only moderate injuries and no broken bones, managing to escape and run into town for supplies. Atrocious, I'll say again. I'll admit I feel as stupid as the writers obviously thought their viewers were, because I sat through this nonsense. Cho was always fun, but good god that role was played by a horrible actor. Keanu Reeves has more range than that guy.

The show hasn't been the same since they threw the show out with the Red John reveal. The Red John reveal might be one of the worst reveals in TV history. What a colossal let down. Then they went all FBI on the bit and it detracted from it's smaller police dept. feel.

Yes. I'm being brief so that I don't wreck it for anyone else.

Oh, I get what you were doing. That's the reason I didn't go into details either. I just have to say, I was simultaneously trying to look away and magnetized to the screen, wondering about the technical process of creating the scene.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Walking Dead - I like the way the tension is building towards the finale. Should be interesting to see where we end up. The two deaths this past week were exceptionally gory. The one where he is thrown against the glass while another could only watch helplessly was Stephen King level disturbing.

Better Call Saul - Still loving it. It's on a slower path, but it's still in the character building stages and I don't mind taking time as long as the characters are engaging.

Yeah honestly each week I'm surprised the entire hour has gone by and I want to see what's going to happen next, so can't beat that. And while we know where he will eventually end up, I honestly have no idea where they'll have him in the meantime, so I like no knowing what's coming.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

While watching the Simpsons on TV last night, I noticed the "Simulcast in Spanish" listed for the first time in a while. (Sure, it's always there, I just noticed it for the first time in a while.) At any rate, it begged the question as the episode came upon a scene with Bumblebee Man, if you're listening to the boradcast in Spanish does Bumblebee Man switch to English?
