Justified:

Solid ending to the series, although...(it's whited out below). Love the final scene. "Love" meaning "FRIGGIN' AWESOME!" Honestly, they could have (and maybe should have?) super-sized the final ep, just to round out the corners, but I can't take anything AWAY from it. Just wished there was a little bit more. Given the writing this season, they would have done it right.

What the hell happened to Duffy? Just disappearing really disappointed me, given his meeting to get a vehicle/etc earlier in the season, and still wanting the money.

What? You don't want a spin off of 'Best not to call Duffy'?

I had to rewatch the final scene like 5x and eventually turn on captions to get that Boyd says "Because we dug coal together". Would have loved for Loretta to actually do something, she was way too passive considering her past characterization. Boon was pretty meh. Sure he's a creepy pedo but the season really didn't need another side character who's given the importance of being the final show down for Raylan when all he did was pick on some hipster and kill an old lady/shoot Loretta's boytoy.

This week's Nova was outrageously good. I have never smiled an entire way through an episode of television before.

Mathematics was the topic. Can't remember the title.

I was looking through the episodes online and think I found the one you are talking about. I'll have to check it out.

One of my faves was a two parter. "Absolute Zero" was the topic and the title I believe. Really interesting stuff.

The Americans:

The last few moments...WOW.

Hidden:

Martha has to go. I think Hans is gonna do it. Cut off the nose to save the face. Make her feel comfortable, then boom. Mafia style. And if I may be so daring....Paige, too. THAT would SERIOUSLY elevate the series if they did that right.

And the hidden reply.
My bet, a long shot, but Paige goes to Russia to see her grandmother with Elizabeth and the Center won't let her return. Then next season is Elizabeth and Philip simultaneous working in a ransom scenario and helping to sabotage their own work, double agent style. And yeah, Martha's not living past next week's episode.

Clown: Oh that's good. Really good. If one of our scenarios follow through...we are in for a ride!

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Season 3 of Orphan Black is about to start. It's been a good show for the first two seasons, hoping they keep quality strong.

Found "The Code" on Netflix. Pretty good Aussie conspiracy/computer hacker series

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Grabbed Season 1 of Hitchcock Presents from the library. I forgot how he liked to lampshade the before-and-after commercials.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Started watching a show on USA called Dig. Reminds me of Indiana Jones meets The Bridge.

Since I like it, I'll give it two years

Love it so far but doesn't feel like it needs more than 2 seasons.

Wolf Hall: I'm just two episodes in but so far it's excellent. Somewhat fictionalized but mostly straight historical treatment of Thomas Cromwell, advisor to Henry V during the Reformation. The acting has been outstanding. My only caution is it's extremely slow and quiet, which is not to everyone's taste.

I've been watching these on Me.TV. I'm blown away by how beautifully some of these are done, like one act plays. It was really good television.

Love this show. The second season(and so far, the first ep of the third season) falls into the typical long-running sci-fi series problem of falling too far down the mythology rabbit hole at times, but it's so worth watching just for the amazing acting performance(s) by Tatiana Maslany. She should win every award.

Not to date my mother, but she was 9 months old when the show began its run. It's legitimately classic film at this point.
