Finishing the last of the David Tennant episodes of Dr. Who. I had seen several Matt Smith episodes prior to watching all of the David Tennant ones and was skeptical about Tennant as the Doctor; turns out I was wrong. Love Tennant as the Doctor and now I'm skeptical about Smith being able to carry the series. I did try to watch the Eccleston ones, but found him tough to watch. Martha might still be my favorite companion thus far, though Donna was pretty awesome. I cried at the end of her last episode. We're waiting for some of the specials to come from Netflix before we watch the Smith episodes. Tcbg wants to see them and wants me to see the origin of the Daleks before we go on. I also watched the pilot for Torchwood with the heavenly John Barrowman.![]()
ETA - There's a fierce discussion in our house about who has the best job: Guys from Top Gear or the guys from Mythbusters.
One of the specials is apparently not on Netflix; I'm not arguing, my life is easier that way. They should be on Netflix.
British Top Gear pwns American Top Gear by a ton.
Well done.pop pop!!!!
This goes without saying.British Top Gear pwns American Top Gear by a ton.
I'm re-watching all of the Community episodes from this season. The ones I didn't like the first time have been AWESOME now. There is a lot of subtle stuff that I missed the first time.
I feel the same way. Taken on its own it's not a bad show. I'd love to see a special with the US, UK, and Aussie guys.I enjoy the American one, but the BBC one is much much better.
I haven't ever seen the American one, but really have no interest in doing so. We love Jeremy, James, and Richard. This goes without saying.
