I started watching Mad Men last night. Figure I can catch up before the new season starts, since Netflix has all 4 seasons on streaming. It looks like it may hold my attention.

I enjoy the series. Its also best enjoyed with a scotch or an old fashioned.

Well they want you to think she is either cheating on Evan or has some illness...I think she is leaving the Hamptons for her art.

Psych needs to come back :(

Understandable. It would just feel "right." 3 eps in, and there's a LOT of groundwork being laid out. And the similarities between Jon Hamm (Don Draper) and Jason Isaacs (Michael Caffee in "Brotherhood," SHO series) is unreal.

At least Burn Notice has been good this season.

I keep expecting Burn Notice to get stale but it never does :)

Every season of Psych is on Netlflix I do believe...it helps soothe the pain. I watched the American Duos episode the other day and the episode with their HS reunion :D

I know that its kind of fake and artificial the way that talk shows set this kind of stuff up as a "conversation" or even an interview that's not planned out ahead of time*, but I gotta say this is still pretty good stuff:

I think that goes for just about every comedian that sits down on just about every talk show. Funny stuff in this case, of course.

Aaaaannnnnnnnnnd Ep 4 of the first season hooks me. It's the Pete backstory/firing/rehiring one. I know it'll get thicker, but for right now, it really set the tone. Of course, a great quote comes out of every great episode of whatever you're watching. For me? This one:

"You don't know how to drink. Your whole generation, you drink for the wrong reasons. My generation, we drink because it's good, because it feels better than unbuttoning your collar, because we deserve it. We drink because it's what men do."

Only Louie could go from a weird off topic rant about the movie "Like Father, Like Son" and then segue back into a story about a bunch of little girls trying out for the "Goodbye Jews" part in Schindler's List :D
