His paranoia and desire to flaunt his power (in his mind: get the credit) will destroy him. I mean, he was correct about the Jesse situation, but jeez, use a little tact. He's smart enough to present the situation better to Jesse, if he wasn't so drunk with power.

The sixth season of Dexter starts up soon, so I just received my copy of the fifth season in the mail Thursday. Five seasons viewed, five seasons of good entertainment. If you're a Netflix subscriber, I highly suggest it. If you're not, like me, it's worth buying.

It's on my radar, but I like to cap it at two series at a time, and given Mad Men's deal with Netflix/new season starting in 2012, that one won out.

So I was looking forward to watching Ninja Warrior on NBC tonight...and they farking ruined it already. How are they going to stretch that out to 2 hours for 10 people? The real version takes an hour for stage one for 50 people, then 30 minutes for stages 2, 3, and 4 (if needed).

Already insane, UAA making it worse
It was the final of American Ninja Warrior with the 10 Americans who went. And considering nobody has gotten past the ultimate cliffhanger ever, it can be short.
And get used to seeing this format. The broadcaster in Japan wanted to cancel it but apparently G4/Comcast/NBC has been funding it. This broadcast was the first anybody saw of Sasuke 27. It won't even air in Japan until October.
And I maintain my stance that nobody will get past the ultimate cliffhanger.

That's my point - the full version takes 90 minutes for G4 to get through 100 people (not 50 like I originally thought). They took 2 full hours last night to get through 10 people. Why the hell did they need an extra 30 minutes to get through 10% of the contestants? I caught the last half hour or so and they did stages 2 and 3 pretty quickly, so what the hell were they showing for the first 90 minutes, considering they could've done all 10 runs in stage 1 in about 20 minutes?

It's better than Warehouse 13. Both are shot in Toronto so I enjoy watching to spot the places I used to work security on film shoots back in the day.
