No but that doesnt mean he cant be upset that the writing has become subpar the last couple of seasons. I mean I have enjoyed them, but the Marshall character has pretty much been a waste and he comments about that. And what is worse is there is nowhere for the character to go, he cant die because he is shown in flash forwards, he cant get divorced because he is married to Lilly in the future. So he is the big, blundering idiot who screws up all the time and is a dorky romantic.

Look at how much Barney has changed over the course of the show and added depth, then look at Marshall. Minus his dad dying nothing has changed since Season 1.

Is it not possible the dress Lilly wore was her bridesmaid dress? I cant picture it offhand but I dont see Robin being the type to have one of those gaudy weddings with ridiculous dresses for her bridesmaids. I dont know enough about Nora to comment.

I just think it is stupid to continue the Robin/Barney love deal if Barney marries someone else. That basically makes Robin the foil again...her character is now the hot chick the friends nailed but didnt marry even though they were in love with her. Sounds lame to me.

Not too good. Maybe has some hope if they give up on the "Look how quirky she is!" nonsense.

I guess she is a little Liz Lemon-ish.

Okay, halfway through season 3 of Mad Men. A few thoughts:

1. January Jones can't act worth sh*. I saw her in that Liam Neeson movie, and thought that was a character thing. It's not. She is horrible.
2. The series is good, but not worth buying. Solid to watch, but it lacks that "wow" factor.
3. Individually, the characters of Draper, Sterling, and Sal are great characters. Those actors (too lazy to do the legwork of finding the actors' names) are outstanding. Draper and Sterling perfect the role of a man's man, while Sal really toes that line of sophisticated/artistic and flaming homo. I mean, it's obvious to us from day 1 he's gay, but set in that time? You wouldn't think twice about him being straight.
4. Pete is a dick. Nothing more needs to be said.

There is some good potential with the succession of power thing, with Opie and Bobby both having different ideas of how it would go, being led to think that by Clay and Jax, respectively.

What is the deal with Juice? I was always under the impression that the Sons weren't racist and wouldn't care if he's a halfrican. So that confused my a bit.

Wasn't enamored with it, but will give it another week or two because I like Zooey.

Have not heard flattering things about the Charlie's Angels remake.

The Sons have been colorblind in who they do business with, and obviously they know about Juice's Hispanic heritage. Maybe the Sheriff is trying to see how dumb Juice really is?

I guess that could be true. I just never got any hint prior to this that the club would care at all if there was a half black member in the club. If they do throw that out there now, with no history to back it up, it just kinda feels forced to me.

ooooh, I think I figured out the plot. She's going to end up hooking up with one of the guys, and then it will cause tension. Then she will probably hook up with another one of the guys, and cause more tension. But by the end she will realize that the 3rd guy is really the right one, which will create even more tension.
