We haven't met her yet, well we have but we haven't. She was in the class Ted thought was his but wasn't, she was the roommate of an ex-girlfriend, she was at that one club on St. Patricks Day, she is the owner of the yellow umbrella.

Not gonna lie, for a second I thought you guys were saying that the mother is played by Robin Wright. That would have been... weird.

Not necessarily. Anyway we'll find out when they wrap up this wedding with Barney and Robin/Norah/player to be named later. Speaking of which, which tie do you all think Barney choose? I'm still undecided on which on it is.

Yes necessarily, the show is called "How I MET Your Mother" not "How I Married Your Mother". They meet, they fall in love, its over. It will make for a funny ending though ;)

I still have my money on Barney marrying Robin. There was a scene last night of Marshall drunk in what looks like Atlantic City with Barney on the phone looking shocked...my guess is that is Robin calling him telling him she loves him. Why would Nora want Ted to talk to her at the wedding? They get married, Ted meets his wife, then my guess is we speed ahead to an even farther future where Ted is telling the story at his daughter's wedding or at his anniversary or something. I mean the kids who played his kids are a little old at this point ;)

The kids who played his kids have already shot all of their scenes so they aren't "a little old" when ever they get around to that...

I don't think so. Regarless of the fact the name of the show is "How I Met Your Mother" I think it will go on 1-2 seasons after the meeting.

I actually thought of reasons why Nora would want to talk to Ted before her wedding. 1. She could be fully incorporated into the group, thus her being completely comfortable with Ted. 2. She knows Ted probably knows Barney the best so wants to make sure he's doing alright. 3. She is having jitters and wants Ted to help her through them. There are resons why it could be Nora. Personally I think its Robin and so does the mass of the fanbase, I'm assuming, which is why it could feasible be Nora.

They are under contract for 8 seasons, this is season 7 and already Jason Segal wants out it seems. They will finish out the obligation and be done with it. This wont be like Scrubs where they find excuses to extend the series a lot longer than it was ever meant too.

To me Lily did not look like she was wearing a bridesmaids dress, which you would assume would be the case if it was Robin, but perhaps that's overreading it.

No, they'll spin off another show starring Ted, and it will be complete horse**** and be cancelled after the 3rd episode.

I remember reading things a few years back when Jason Segel said the cast thought season 6 would be the last due to the story's natural progression. So even he thought it was going to be done last year.

If you had a female friend that was like a sister to you you wouldn't try to get her in the bridal party? It can still be one of those true intergrations for Nora, if it is her.
