Pretty good Community episode.

Still fear the show will be cancelled this season, if not definitely after the next :(

It's a shame because Season 1 was pure gold. Season 2 has had its moments.

Just got around to watching the Mad Love pilot. Whoever said upthread (I think maybe in reference to Perfect Couples) that networks are trying really hard to reproduce Friends was right. But, this has Sarah Chalke and Judy Greer and the guy who ****ed a pie, so that's a good start. The stuff with the ex with the malapropisms (like how she brought over "fabric snatches") was pretty good. I feel like it's pretty obvious that Judy Greer's character and Tyler Labine's character will wind up getting along, even if they don't wind up getting together (whereas, like, in Big Bang theory you couldn't say the same thing about Sheldon and Penny), but it's pretty tough for a show not to telegraph something like that with this small a cast.

I thought the second episode was a little better, which means I'll continue to give it a shot. Not terribly impressed as of yet, though.

I think you're being a tad pessimistic. Doesn't NBC have a pretty lengthy history (at least recently) of keeping around shows that may not get good ratings, but have a pretty loyal following?

Especially because they seem to be committed to this Thursday night comedy block thing. I would think Outsourced gets axed before Community does.

They should switch up Community's time slot so it's not up against Big Bang Theory. I think having it after The Office and before 30 Rock again would have been the smartest option, but that's the reason why NBC is such a **** up network.

It's... meh. I think they're trying too hard, and really, you can only have so many jokes about Indian culture before it just stops being funny and starts being kinda racist.

Pretty much. I enjoyed episodes 2 - 5 or 6 and now I'm starting to get a little bored with the show.

Have not seen much of Parks and Rec, but I freaking love that character.

Yeah, it's a typical "fish out of water" show. It can only last so long on that premise before the main character should start adjusting or the supporting cast would get tired of the whole thing. It did have it's moments though.

So I know I say this pretty much every week...but man alive I would give anything to be Hank Moody for just a couple of days! :eek:

Next weeks episode though looks like it may be the beginning of the end of me saying that though :(

Great cameo at the end of this episode though.

OH! He's still the devil from Reaper! He can go wherever he wants! That guy is tremendous at playing a shiny, charming villain.
