I stopped watching Outsourced. It had its moments, but really it feels like a missed opportunity. Instead of going for the broad "Gawrsh, everything's so DIFFERENT here!" humor (how many times would you eat street meat if it made you sick? and wouldn't you develop a tolerance?), plus the "let's have a conservative culture sell gag gifts that even debauched Americans find distasteful!" humor, they could have gone the other way.
Don't have the idiot American manager get together with the hot Australian (who is there for some inexplicable reason), instead actually explore the relationship with the engaged-to-be-arranged-married Indian. THAT is an interesting dynamic that would let the show have some heart, still have some dumb misunderstandings, and be moderately intelligent. Instead it seems like the pitch was "Imagine the Office, in India, but broader humor!"
