Then why did they drive in India last season? Answer me that! :p

Hence my comments about other driving that they aren't used to.

Unless there are ice roads in India it shouldn't of been called IRT. I only watched a seaon of IRT 2 years ago, liked the premiss but once you seen one season ou pretty much seen it all. Along the same vein Deadliest Catch is getting old, you can only watch crab fishing for so long.

The one in India was IRT: Deadliest Roads, or something like that. It wasn't actually IRT, they just used the same truckers and the name recognition for a different show, that basically had the same premise: driving a truck.

Was it all mountain driving or something? If so then i understand, but as I said earlier there is only so much people can take of watching basically the same thing even if they change the location.

Yeah, it was driving on roads that were right up against the edges of cliffs up in the mountains, plus they threw in some driving in bat-**** crazy India traffic on those types of roads. But it wasn't really "ice roads".

I'm almost done with the entire series of Nip/Tuck. I think I have about 6 episodes left. I have to think that this show ends in some kind of massive trainwreck. These last couple seasons haven't been very good IMO, it seemed to really lose its steam after a couple episodes in California.

It was *ed up. Inches of clearance, trucks that wouldn't come close to passing any sort of safety standard in the U.S., etc.

I don't know, the character/human interest end of things on the show have kept me interested. It's just not the same without Captain Phil, though. :(

It doesn't end in a trainwreck, interstingly enough. Won't spoil it for you. I loved the first season a lot but the subsequent seasons got a little crazy and weird at times. I had the mad hotz for Julian MacMahon. I met him at the Emmys one year. He was awesome. :)

Um, did South Park's episode last night just end the series or something? Wow.

I think they were going with the concept of KFC and OLN (before it changed to Versus). They are using the initials as a brand though it's not really an acronym, i.e. KFC isn't really Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Probably not, but it'll be interesting to see where they're going, if anywhere, on this.

That said, I didn't see anything wrong with the way Stan was thinking.

It's not like they chose good movies to have Stan call crappy...movies in general lately are just plain awful...music too

They are under contract for seven more episodes this season, but maybe Stan (and family) is getting written out. My bet is that next week it will be back to normal (same ol' sh* but presented in a different way), completing the joke that was the focus of the episode last night.

Re: TV Shows 6: Abed and Troy in the Morning! Havvveeee you met Ted's Wife yet?

My bet is there going to have an actually story arc that goes on for a few episodes. Keep up the general silliness while referencing a more serious situation with Stan. It's not like the situation they had with Kenny where they could show off Butters or Tweaks antics while comparing them to Kenny for humor.

I haven't watched South Park and I don't really plan to. Can someone explain what all of the hubub is about?

this week's episode was about how Stan is dealing with the fact that he thinks everything is crap from popular music, new movies, video games...he's very cynical about everything and then his parents realize they aren't working so they are going through a divorce. So Stan pretty much thinks anything and everyone is a piece of crap.

And that the same **** happens every week and it's just presented in different ways.

Actually, I think KFC went back to being Kentucky Fried Chicken a few years ago.
