"Your mic is on..."
My jaw dropped.
The Mick has started out perfectly. I'm laughing my *** off right now.
It could be really bad but whatever. I'm giving it a shot.
Surprised no one else chimed in on this. Perhaps I'm the only Benedict fanboy here.
Although rumor has it thatso we won't have the pleasure of seeing him.
Agreed. I really liked the chemistry between Sherlock and Irene Adler as well as with Lestrade. I find Mycroft and Watson quite funny. And the relationship between Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, and Sherlock is really touching. You have to remember the reason people got the vapors about BC was Sherlock. You should give the first few episodes of S1 a chance. I think it will be impress you; Watson in particular.
Just finished S2 of The Man In The High Castle (after re-watching S1). Good plot and good acting but dammm is it sloooooooow. Could have compressed S1 & S2 into one and not miss a thing.
By "Jinx" are you guys referring to the Robert Durst series? I haven't checked that out yet.
I love slow. Where did you find it, is it on Netflix?
I really enjoy PKD, and MitHC is one of my favorites.

Isn't the pace of the show meant to give that feeling where it's a long, tedious grind under the boot of an occupier's oppression? I'm about halfway through the second season, and that's the impression I get from it.
I'm not sure not having seen it, but have you read the book? It is not exactly "action packed." Like pretty much all of PKD it's internal psychology with plot just as the life support system to hang more internal psychology on.
I can't argue with that theory. The actual time that the show appears to cover is only a few weeksIsn't the pace of the show meant to give that feeling where it's a long, tedious grind under the boot of an occupier's oppression? ETA: Someone in The Man In The High Castle production team must've worked on the Battlestar Galactica and had a thing for the actors playing the skin job Cylons. I've counted three of them so far.
It's been years since I read the book. Probably more years than some of the people reading this post have been alive. I'll fix that once I finish the Foundation series that you and Joe have prompted me to revisit (again after a multitude of years)I love slow. Where did you find it, is it on Netflix?

bbdl mentioned it earlier, so gave it a whirl:
Saw the Amanda Knox doc on Netflix tonight. Nick Pisa is a piece of sh*. Hands the public a match and gasoline and wonders why there is a fire. That being said, I think she is innocent. And Italy's cops are trying to save face when they obviously screwed up. Hey, we all make mistakes, it happens. They just didn't own up.
