The rash of repeats for How I Met, 2&1/2, Comm, Modern F and the like the past several weeks has been annoying. At least there's V, Southland and Sr. vs. Jr. :)

I have to admit, the more I watch Sr. vs. Jr. the more I'm under the opinion that the family split, although bad on a personal level, was good for Jr. A lot of the bikes that OCC is putting out now are either lego sets or really gimmicky, while the PJD designs have a lot more thought and personality to them. Jr is re-establishing all the credibility he gained years ago.

Good, other people are watching Southland, the best show that no one seems to be talking about.

Community was pretty good. Troy taking notes during Annies turn as Hector the Well-endowed was pretty good.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

I came across what appeared to be a Glee marathon yesterday when channel surfing. In total, I was unimpressed and wanted to smack that kid who won the Emmy or Golden Globe or whatever award that was. Of the handful of gay guys I know at work, there's only one guy who talks like that kid does, with the falsely high and breathy voice. Oh how it grates on me. A couple of the guys have told me that it's usually a false voice, used to draw attention to "their gayness" in the straight world.

It is to the point that I am starting to actually feel bad for Hank Moody...

But that's his actual voice.

OK, so, HIMYM. This has been brought up before, but, he's got to meet the mother soon, right? If future Ted has teenage kids (the actress who plays the daughter was 18 when the show started and the actor who plays the son was 16) in "the year 2030", and we're now in 2011, they've gotta be starting to crank out babies in another... three years or so, right?

Maybe a plot hole: If it winds up being Zoey (and it was pretty obvious they were setting Ted and Zoey up to be a couple), is it plausible that nobody remembers Honey's real name?

Tangent: Lyndsy Fonseca (who plays the daughter) has a pretty strong facial similarity to Cobie Smulders, IMO; I wonder if, when she was cast, they weren't sure whether Robin would eventually be the mother. (Though "that's how I met your aunt Robin" was in the first episode, so I guess that isn't really plausible. Either way, I think they look alike.)

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Just because the kids are that age in real life doesnt mean they have to be that age when he started telling the story. Since they have never said their age they can run with this as long as they so choose.

The fact is, as soon as we meet the mom the show is over. Once he explains how he gets to that part of the story the kids will stop listening and anything beyond that pretty much doesnt vibe with the premise. This basically means that anytime Ted starts dating a chick and you know he name it will fail because in theory the kids would say "Hey that is mom's name, that is how they met...SEE YA DAD!"

Long story short, when they are on their final season that is when we will finally meet the mother.
