Crap....I dont have $90 to really spend right now..but I may have to. I LOVE the Wire. Although if Deadwood is on there too and the price is right...

Edit...Deadwood is not on there for the sale...still $121. But $90 for a set that is listed normally at over $200...YES!

Didn't they get in a fight about their dad and the Indian chick got married and the German (or Russian? I forget) guy was trying to cure something with shark blood or something.

Yeah, the first thing that came to mind was "Shark!". I didn't even remember the thing about their Dad cheating them until I re-read the Wikipedia.

Yeah, I saw there was a marathon last weekend and I meant to tape the last episode to remind me - Wikipedia here I come!

That's a hell of a deal. The first couple season sets I bought were like $50, and the last three were somewhere in the $30's.

I got the email from them, I'll have to check through their lists when I get a chance.

I havent seen Rome. So until I could netflix it and watch it I wouldnt want to be buying it. However, I am defending my Master's thesis next week. A Deadwood box set would be a good gift from the folks for such a feat. Haha. Im probably going to be ordering the Wire box set when I get home. Its just to awesome a deal to pass up.

Edit: The Squidbillies dvds are tempting too. That is one messed up yet hilarious show.

Edit 2: Ordered the Wire. Not suprisingly it has jumped to the # 1 title in movies and TV.

I have been watching the Burn Notice marathon today and they have showed a Royal Pains commercial several times where they recap the season in 1 minute.

It's funny that the "TV Season" just ended and a whole mess of shows I watch are just starting.

In Plain Sight is already back, Burn Notice and Royal Pains start tonight. Psych and White Collar are back soon on USA along with the new show Covert Affairs which I will give a try and then TNT has Dark Blue, The Closer and Leverage. I will definitely give Rizzoli and Isles with Angie Harmon and Sascha Alexander a try and probably will give Memphis Beat at least one epp. Plus Weeds About as many shows as I watch when the networks are in full swing.

Memphis Beat looks stupid and I have no more trust left in Jason Lee...Scientology killed that man ;)

100 questions has a laugh track that makes me unable to watch more than 2 minutes of the show. I can't see how this show has any chance.

The first season of Rome is excellent. The second season, which never aired IIRC but went straight to DVD, is still pretty good but the inevitable temptation to flesh out the main characters with contrived story lines (to, I dunno, keep the chicks interested or something) makes it more cliche and labored.

Looking to watch some shows on Netflix this summer and was wondering anyone's opinions on the following since I am about done with Psych and The Tudors, I am going to give Breaking Bad a try

Third Watch
Sports Night
Sarah Connor Chronicles
Spartacus
Profiler
The Mentalist

For those wondering where these came from they are the TV Series that Netflix recommends I try based on other shows I watch.
