Actually I like a lot of things...Dexter is just stupid and the overacting done by the guy who plays Dexter is laughably horrible![]()
Was that the season finale of Chuck last night?
I would watch CSI if, ya know, it was actually anything like what real CSI people do
Last nights House was pretty awesome...
Does anyone else see the wonderful irony in these two statements?![]()
All shows gradually get sappier and stupider. If nothing else there is a Peter Principle where the good writers move on and the mediocre writers are left. Or there is the MASH Effect where the pretty, stupid people who say the lines accumulate enough power and ego that they start to think they can write and direct, instead of leaving that to the smart, ugly people. Or a show becomes a franchise and the network stops allowing risks because the stakes are higher. And finally there is Regression towards Niceness, where flawed, foil characters are redeemed and become unobjectionable and uninteresting (Frank Burns, Lou Grant, Archie Bunker). This has happened with every show that ever ran for more than 4 years. Animated shows seem to be an exception, because the talent can't take over. Cartman doesn't lobby for a softer character and Homer doesn't try to write.
Thanks! They didn't have previews at the end of the episode, but it felt like a weird place to stop.My DVR says the season finale is next week.

I haven't complained about The Office in a while. But that has to be the shallowest 30 minutes in all of television.
Totally called the ending of Community!![]()
Great first season...Hope they can keep it up next season.
If you haven't watched...i strongly suggest you either buy the first season or watch it on Hulu. It's fan-f'in-tastic.
