I'm really glad that bbdl and ShirtlessGuy hooked me on Californication. I'm 2 eps into the second season.
It's *ed up, humorous in a twisted way, and has a decent storyline(s) so far.
Added bonus: who knew Duchovny could do anything but dry stoic humor?

They're re-airing that episode of Glee on Friday or something.
Tonight's American Idol was a masterpiece. The show was at least 60% pre-taped segments, and the rest was complete filler and they still managed to run 21 minutes long and didn't give the kid that got voted off a chance to sing like they normally do.

About 4-5 eps into season 2, where Hank is the baby daddy of another girl. Just when you think it's as *ed up as it could be, hello left turn. Seems to be the theme of this series.
Have two more eps on the first half of season two, and the other half of that season arrives tomorrow.
Just you wait...season 3 is even MORE screwed up and the finale was the best episode of the show period IMHO. I cant wait until Season 4

Heh. Obviously you don't know me. I can toss out some mega-*ed up thoughts.
But, this is a tv show (albeit unregulated cable) and some of the stuff is messed up even for that. Ex: the squirter scene? I was surprised they shot/showed that.

I know, but some things they do regulate themselves on, and squirting is one of those things. Guess not. Thought the agent's O-face montage was hilarious. And that short wife of his.....hot.

That agent is my cousin...thank god I always ditched the reunions which is why I never met him otherwise that would be even more disturbing to me

The baby daddy stuff is ok but a rather lame story overall. I liked when he got in trouble for giving oral sex to the wrong girl

I understand your frustration, but couldn't you set the DVR to extend the record time by 5-10-30 minutes and solve this problem? We record something like 15 shows each week and we do that for all of them, and never have an issue.
Just sayin'.

a) You usually don't have to when recording regular shows. I will do that when recording sporting events and other live shows. AI usually doesn't go over like that.
b) I was recording two other shows at 10pm while watching hockey, so actually no, I couldn't.
You do realize you're takling to the Queen of TiVo'ing shows don't you. People, please educate this poor soul.
