Anybody else catch the premier of Treme on HBO Sunday night?
Probably too early to tell, but I think the series has potential. Also, watching John Goodman rant and rave is hilarious.

Speaking of debuts, happy to see season 4 of the Tudors is back. Of course, King Henry wasn't as handsome as he is on the show. But ratings would be pretty bad if he was portrayed as a 50-year-old, 300-pound, balding man with an infection on his thigh.
Does make the Queen's adultery a tad more understandable though.

You can see where this is going though, if it comes back. She's not really dead, and has the book, and they go hunting her down, and keep the bad guys from using it for whatever nefarious ends. I dunno, I don't think I care for that story arc, kinda reminds me a bit too much of the final seasons of Prison Break. I just don't think this show really needs an indepth continuing story arc.
Amy Acker looked really hot though.

Edit to add: Ah, I see, so "Christopher Chance" is like "Dread Pirate Roberts". Nice.
I like it. Chi McBride's ornery act always amuses me regardless of what show he's on. Haven't watched this week's episode yet, but in any case I hope it gets picked up for another season.

I got to see the new Doctor Who and I can say the series will be just fine. I think Matt Smith was funny and totally into the role. I do like his quirks about saving the world for the millionth time and keeping his new outfit.
Do I still miss David Tennant? Of course. He was right up there with Tom Baker, but I think the show is going to be just fine.
Besides, Karen Gillan is nice to look at. Her in a cop uniform = yummy.

I like it quite a bit, reminds me a lot of Burn Notice but from what I have been reading it is on the bubble to come back next year. As much as I hate American Idol I wish Fox had put target on at 9:00 so they could have gotten the ratings bump.

Goddam mother *ing American Idol.
It ran over a few extra minutes and delayed the start of Glee, which I was TiVoing because I was watching Lost. I missed the end of the show, wihch included a production number I was waiting to see. That show needs to DIAF!!!!
