Re: TV 4 - Renewed for another thread!!!

I finished dexter season 4 last night. Without giving away anything, what a mind-numbing season finale.

Barney has a perfect week...I might cry! :)

Is anyone watching Caprica?

I never watched Battlestar Gallactica, but I watched the first two episodes of Caprica and I'm intrigued- but am I missing out on anything? It's supposed to be 50 years in the past from Battlestar Gallactica times, are some of the kids people that turn into someone important in the future?
I know nothing of Caprica, but I just started watching Battlestar Galactica, and so far season 1 has been great.

If any of the characters in Caprica are named William (Bill) Adama, then yes, he's a central character played by Edward James Olmos in the Battlestar Galactica series.

Oscar nominees have been announced. From glancing through them, it looks like it will be "Golden Globes: Part Deux." I suppose that is they way it usually works out, it just takes three hours longer to get through.

Yvonne StraHOTski wasn't bad either.

"Nice work Walker, another geek bites the dust!"

More awesome references...the restaurant was called "The Two and a Half Amigos" (referencing the 3 Amigoes) and at Weap-Con the dude was selling the "EM-50 Mobile Interrogation unit" which is a reference to Stripes :D

edit: And there was The Untouchables reference as well "Just like Bartowski, bringing a knife to a gun fight!" :D

Cake Boss is awesome.
Coincidentally, I had dinner near that bakery on Saturday, and the line outside (at 6pm on a very cold evening, mind you) was nuts. Comparable to what I used to see outside Magnolia Bakery when Sex And The City was in its heyday. Apparently the stuff they make is VERY good; my brother-in-law got my sister (who is a chocolate addict) an individual-size chocolate cake from there for her birthday a few months ago, and she couldn't finish it because it was too chocolatey. So, nice work by them, I guess.
That show is the Jersey Shore of cake shows.
Only appropriate, since Hoboken is the Jersey Shore of the NYC metropolitan area. (Tangent: Hartford is the Jersey Shore of New England.)
