TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

I get the impression (none of us know anything) that Sam Kinison did drugs because of desperate self-loathing and depression, like Robin Williams, while John Mulaney does drugs because they feel REALLY good, like John Belushi. The former are haunted. The latter are privileged. The former are running from. The latter are running towards.

That’s part of the reason I ask whether or not people control when a process server does this. You’d have to assume doing it then would make you look like a prick, so why would you choose to do it then?

I’m not defending them I actually have zero clue. Also, I learned long ago to not put celebrities on a big pedestal. When you get right down to it they are just another person you don’t know.

Sam Kinison did drugs because he wanted to party every minute until he died. There may have been some self loathing but he acted the way he acted for the same reason everyone else did. He also seemed to be quite the nihilist.

Sudekis would have known her schedule well enough to tell the process server where to find her.

I dont think Sudekis wanted it on stage, but he told the process server to do it at the show no doubt.

I have no idea like I said but he sure looks like a man running from himself as fast as he can, and drugs were a supersonic jet.

Most celebrity substance abusers aren't haunted by demons. They're just assholes with enough money to kill themselves (Hemingway, Morrison, Elvis). If I had $50M I am convinced that is how I'd go out. I can barely control myself with a double bock. I would stand no chance at all with good drugs.

Binged the first season of The Righteous Gemstones and damn is it hilarious. It smartly lampoons mega church culture and hypocrisy.
 
I barely made it through the pilot...I wanted to like it but honestly Danny McBride annoys me. After like 3 seasons of Eastbound and Down hearing his voice started to give me a migraine :ROFLMAO:
 
I made it through Eastbound and Down but could not stomach Gemstones past Ep 1.

I like in parts the 3 dudes that made up Workaholics, but I couldn't stick with that either.
