No Daphne either. Not sure how that's going to work. Jane Leeves has said she won't leave her role on The Resident.

Kelsey grammar confirms Frasier is being revived

Meh. It had its lengthy run, I don't see the need to revisit it; especially with key cast members not able to return. Though I do imagine Dr. Frasier Crane would be even snootier in 2021 Seattle than he was in the 90s, as the overall sense of self-importance and entitlement in that city now borders on Wall Street levels thanks to tech bros.

He ended series in Chicago right?

Technically he ended it on the plane to Chicago I think to go be with Laura Linney. I havent watched it though since I went to live in Seattle. (and realized that show was sooooooo full of it!!)

One of my faves...and I love the (now Paramount) CBS streaming app so I am all for it!

I don’t care much about the reboots but the soccer rights they acquired are interesting. Those rights have been long held by networks or companies that can be best described as “shady, dubious and obscure”. Interesting that CBS spent money to acquire (I can’t imagine they were cheap).

Yep plane landing in Chicago js how it ended.

one of my all time faves also so I’m curious

One of maybe three or four comedies I’ve ever liked. The ending was perfect. But honestly, I’m totally on board as long as niles is there too. I’m right there with you on that one. Same with Roz, but without daphne, I don’t see how you get Niles. Every character on that show was important. Ans I always enjoyed the long arc storytelling from season to season even without being a true serial.

I don’t expect this to be as good, but I’m such a sucker I’ll watch and probably love it. Sometimes reboots are brilliant. Ducktales has been fantastic.

Well it depends...if they want this to go multiple seasons sooner or later it will need to be addressed in detail but otherwise say she is in England taking care of her mother or something.

Roz is a must as is Niles. Beyond that who cares.

Binge watched the last season of Game of Thrones since I never saw it at the time (but read enough to know what happened).

Honestly, not as bad as a lot of people were saying at the time. Yeah, the writing continued to suffer once they got past GRRM's source material, and some characters lost alot because of that (namely Tyrion), but overall I was fine with it.

Probably the only major gripe is that they got away from the "anyone can die in any episode" ethos and had too many major characters survive to the end. Which is ironic since the reason I never read beyond the first book was because everyone died. But I was fine with that with the TV series. Oh well.

Finally got around to watching Framing Britney Spears(one of those 'nothing else on might as well'). What a long strange trip.

I actually feel bad for her.

Yeah, the one paparazzi guy who was in such deep denial he said at one point "well, she never asked us not to follow her around."

The incredible thing is I believed he believed that. Humans will do anything to shield themselves from their responsibility for tragedy. Look at Republicans right now.

Was that the guy who was acting like they were friends? The one who basically caused the "Umbrella Incident"? That guy has some messed up wiring...

Obviously the doc is biased...but man it really showed how bad everyone treated her. And it really made Justin Timberlake look like a total tool. he is bragging about how he nailed her meanwhile she is being shamed by Diane Sawyer because she dared have sex before marriage.

Yes, that was the guy. He was a turd.

The other person who was really upsetting was her "producer," who sounds like she was a hanger-on and enabler and just another cling-on posse member. She struck me as super creepy, the way she kept insinuating she was in the inner circle.

The dad came off as, well, southern. A jackwagon.
