I'll quote this but ask everyone. Are any zombie shows very good after one, maybe two seasons? I feel like TWD is a unicorn. They found a way to make it interesting beyond a single season. The most compelling zombie stories, for me, are the origin stories. Once they're established it's just.... boring.
 
If you really want to be ahead of the curve, you should try to figure out what the next dystopian genre will be. We've worked our way through government and big brother, nuclear holocaust, computers/bots, climate based holocaust and now plagues, along with a few other more minor variations.

Who knows how much creative control he has? Woods and Beck's name were on A Quiet Place and that didn't stop The Royal Couple from turning it into sludge.

But I hope he holds out against the money people at least to get a season in. That's all I ask for now. One season for me, then I can stop watching and let the MBAs call soooooooo-ey!

None of them are compelling? They lost like $4 billion (that actually might be conservative) because AT&T is awful. They would have lost more if they kept some of that content. They license stuff out (or sell it off cause they have zero use for it) and make money. Its basic economics. (some money better than less money) It is going to take years to dig out of the hole those idiots created.

I have been following this a while...it is Elmo level crazy how bad AT&T was.

I think the difference is that Sony has far more interest in keeping TLOU’s quality up because it still has plenty of life left as a video game series. And with Naughty Dog being Sony owned and TLOU being a PlayStation exclusive, Sony is going to want quality that matches the games. It wouldn’t surprise me if Sony was the one who insisted on Neil Druckmann being a showrunner (and he’s directing the second episode too).

Saw the Night Court reboot/sequel premired tonight on NBC, nostalgia made me interested in seeing how it is.

The new Night Court is.... not good.
 
I saw article about how new Frasier reboot has no one from old show but Kelsey grammar.

doesn’t make me think it’ll be any good. I can’t believe David Hyde pierce isn’t in it as he apparently wanted too much . Not sure why Roz and Daphne aren’t involved . Obv the guy who played his dad passed away so he’s out
