Watching Breaking Bad right now with Mrs. Jon and I don't get the Anna Gun hatred. Her husband is turning into Satan and even if you find Skyler's behavior annoying, it's a fictional character.
True Detective was excellent. It was a slow burn, as expected, but it was creepy, and dark, and just very well done. Harrelson and McConaughey were very good also. Definitely going to keep watching, but I figured that would be the case going into it.
Agreed. I think the pace will turn some people off, but can't wait for next week.
Jack Bauer is back, and he's on the run in London.
Kiefer Sutherland returns as the intrepid counter-terrorist in a 12-episode run of "24: Live Another Day," debuting with a two-hour show May 5 on Fox. It will take up its regular one-hour slot starting May 12.
HBO and The Newsroom producers announced today that the upcoming third season will be the show's final season. Given how fast they were chewing through the timeline they set, that only makes sense. I'm disappointed by this. While there are obvious issues with the show, I still like it a lot. The acting is great, as are the character interactions.
Yeah, I thought about that, too, but a season is only 12 episodes, but there's a lot of potential in covering the stupid things news agencies and those people in the news do.I haven't seen the show, but to quote Timothy Olyphant from "The Girl Next Door:"
Kelly: Always leave 'em wanting more.
End it before it gets stale. See: Friends and How I Met Your Mother.

Holy crap, just watched it. I want to see the next episode, RIGHT NOW!!!!!! Man, this is gonna be good.
"It's Thursday. Thursday's my day off. I start drinking around noon. You guys don't get to interrupt that."
Will it be called "12", then?
It had its moments but... eh.Funny you say that because tonight HIMYM was awesome...especially the ending![]()
The Black List is back and as awesome as ever. Had kind of a mid season ending last night with a huge hint of what's to come. Spader has to be relishing every minute of this role.
Major Crimes two part season finale ended last night. Part 1 was better than Part 2, but I'd say this is a very underrated show.
Possible spoilers (True Detective):
After just the one episode my fiance and I were trying to figure out what was going on in the current timeline. I have to think that Rust is a suspect, given the fact that he is in an interogation room, while Hart is being interviewed in a pretty nice looking conference room. My fiance also had the theory that the files weren't actually destroyed during Hurricane Rita, and that they just told Rust that to see if all of the smallest details were still fresh in his mind. Since the new murder contained aspects that only those very close to the original murders....I think Rust is too smart to fall for that though, if he did do it.
"Milwaukee's Best or Lonestar. Nothing snooty."

Finally got around to watching the Justified premiere. Love Dave Foley as a Canadian gangster talking about Tim Horton's. Don't buy Michael Rapaport as a Southerner.
