Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

I'd find a way to wear my Bruins Satan shirt every day there.

Oh, they know my verbal style by now. One day I warned them I was about to rant. Even dropped the "c" word. They laughed, since most "got" my personality. I still try and restrain, though. I actually respect most of them. Yeah, I know.

When I first saw that picture I was thinking that it actually was diva, and I was wondering how the hell dirty found it on google.

Hah, I thought the same thing.

After I realized it wasn't her, I started to wonder what the hell Dirty was looking for that made that come up?

The photo makes the term 'doggystyle' make me laugh.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

Horrid day at work. Well, kinda. I had told work that I couldn't stay late tonight. That left zero people who knew my area very well. A couple people sorta know how to do it, maybe. So the good part of the day was leaving, and them being screwed. Maybe it'll teach 'em to make sure more than 2 people know how to do something.

They won't be out of there until at least 7:30. :D

Why couldn't I stay late? I have the yearly Ramones Mania tribute for the American Cancer Society tonight! 12-15 cover bands, playing short sets (3-4 songs, usually) of Ramones songs. It rules.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

What a great night at Ramones Mania. First off, a duo featuring a 12 year old girl lead singer opened the night with S-L-U-G. Also heard: Carbona Not Glue, Indian Giver, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, and Making Monsters For My Friends. And there was some weird Good Ol' Blues Ramones Brothers Boys band that played countrified versions of songs like Beat On The Brat. It was bizarre, but it worked. There was also a Vegas lounge-y band, too.

Musically, there was one band whose style punched you in the face. It would be silent, then BOOMHOLYSH*GUITARS/DRUMSMACHSPEED. It was friggin' awesome. They really took it to another level.

And there was a weird mix of people there. Maybe 10% normal people, and the rest split between hipsters and punk rockers. And a couple hot suicide girls. Twitchy woulda loved it.

I bought a new computer for the first time since 2005. This Windows 7 thing is taking some time to become accustomed. I think I'll like it, but it's still very different from XP.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

I learned that about a month ago when my tower got zapped by a virus. I've still got to figure out how to access the old machine, when the CD-Rom doesn't work, and it black-screens before start-up.

Juat be glad that you didn't get stuck with the disaster called Vista.

From what I hear, I'm glad I missed that.

And what a completely crappy weekend for sports, MN sports in particular:

Boogey gone, Killebrew not far behind, Twins swept at home, Lightning win, Canucks win. Ugh.
