TRP: Summer, come now!

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

My guess is it's an arbitrary number made up because the likelihood of anyone ordering that much is slim to none. Brent's probably reading into it too much.

I agree it was a random number for the reason you stated. But, since it was declared, that could be legally binding (again, I have to see if there is any fine print, such as advance notice, etc). Imagine us, at about midnight on a hockey night, deciding to order 256 pizzas from Domino's...just sayin'. :D

Edit: OOO! OOO! 11:50pm, we order 256 pizzas. 12:05am, we order 256 more! Different days, beech! :D :D :D

256 = 16^2, a very important number for computers historically - especially for addressing.

I thought of that, too, but you really think they are going to market to geeks and Techies?

Wait. Crap. Yeah, you're right.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

This week can be done any time now. At this rate, all of my Friday will be OT. And maybe some of tomorrow.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

Meh, not so much. The singer does though. He looks like a cross between Billy and Dusty (i.e. fat with a big red beard) and sounds exactly like both of them.

Played our first show a few weeks ago. Holy crap that's some fun stuff. Dug pretty deep into their discography too - no "Legs" or any of that electronica crap they did in the '80's. Well, except "Sharp Dressed Man."

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

For the first time ever, this house has a problem with swallows and their nest building characteristics. If you don't want to put a bunch of netting or screening all over your house, you pretty much have to no choice but to continuously knock them down every day. If you let it go, they may finish and lay eggs. Once that happens, federal law protects the stupid nest. Dumb.

As long as you don't play Viva Las Vegas, the "electronica crap" is stuff I don't mind. Granted, their older stuff was better, I'm just sayin'.

A lot of federal agents hanging around checking the nests you knock down? Or do you think the birds will turn you in?

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

So you can't knock the nests down...can you shoot 'em? That seems like a reasonable solution also.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

Coon Rapids is nowhere near the level of North.

Yet.
Minneapolis North is a ****hole. CRapids is definitely nicer than that dump. I read an article about North and all of the gang wars that are going on there...I won't be driving through that area anytime soon.
